About Me

Growing up with artsy parents, Emily always had an ear for music and an eye for the arts. A fantasy lover, you would be more surprised to see a young Emily without a book or a pencil to draw with.

Shortly after falling in love with animation in both cartoons and anime, Emily also fell in love with the hobby of cosplaying, quickly attempting to show her love for the characters that resonated so deeply with her from her favourite animated works over the years. Over time the skills needed for this hobby grew, and she developed her skills in makeup even further later on in her first college program at Sheridan College. During this time she realized that her true passion lay in the world she had always loved; making stories and characters that resonated with people, just as they did with her.

Now, she pursues this dream to help create diverse characters and stories to help everyone feel seen, heard, and included in the media we consume today, learning new skills at Durham College in their Animation Program.
